Hi, my name is Ashley. I am married to Cody, a wonderful man from West Plains. I graduated from Willow Springs High School in 2006 and I am currently taking classes at Missouri State University. I became part of Dake’s great orthodontic team in June of 2007. I became Expanded Functions Certified in June 2008. I get much joy out of working at Dr. Dake’s office because I love growing a relationship with each patient, not to mention the close friendship I have with all the other staff members. Working for Dr. Dake has changed my life in many ways and I would like to give him a BIG thanks!
Hi! My name is Brittany. I became a part of the Dake orthodontic team in May of 2004, after graduating from Dental Assisting School at OTC in Springfield. I am a Certified Dental Assistant and Expanded Functions certified. I am married to Aaron; we enjoy spending time with our daughter Miley, friends, and family. Along with assisting Dr. Dake, I am in charge of making sure everything is prepared for each day. Being a part of the Dake team is a lot of fun! I really enjoy working with all the doctors, Darrin and the girls.
Hello, my name is Crystal and I have been employed by Dr. Dake since June 1989. I became a Certified Orthodontic Assistant in 1994 and Expanded Functions Certified in June 1999. My husband, Mark, and I have 3 children, Weston, Kendra and John Garrett. Along with assisting Dr. Dake with patients, I also trace all the cephalometric X-rays in preparation of their treatment plan, and I am new patient treatment coordinator. I really enjoy working for Dr. Dake, and all of us here are very close friends. It's nice getting to know each patient and watching as their smiles change.
Hi! My name is Cyndi. I started working for Dr. Murphy in July of 1996 and joined the team of Dr. Dake in October 2006. I have been a Registered Dental Assistant since 1998. At work, I am responsible for assisting the doctors, inventory of stock, daily preparations of the clinic and taking some of the records (which includes photos, study model impressions and X-rays). My husband, Jim, and I have a daughter, Tiffany. We enjoy outdoor activities, warm weather, and vacationing at the beach.
Hi, my name is Darrin. I have worked for Dr. Dake since July 1992. I am the Lab Technician for the office. My job consists of making all the study models for our patients. I make all the retainers (invisible and Hawley), Rapid Palatal Expanders, Space Maintainers, Trans palatal Arches, Nance Appliances, as well as any other appliances that are needed. I find my job very fulfilling because art has always been an interest of mine, and this allows me to express that in my work.
Hello! My name is Denise. I have been with Dr. Dake since November of 2007. My job consists mainly of working in the back office. I am the financial coordinator taking care of all accounts payable and receivable. I am married to Pete and have two children, Caitlyn and Kyle (who are both patients here). It is a great place to work and I really enjoy my job. Everyone is so nice and really cares about smiles!
Hi, my name is Hannah. I joined the Dake team in 2008 and am enjoying it thoroughly. My husband, Josh, and I live in West Plains. I attended the Dental Assisting Program at OTC and graduated in 2006. I am expanded functions certified. My duties in the office include assisting Dr. Dake with patients and making sure our sterilization equipment is up to date and creating our office newsletter. Hello, my name is Jamie. I have worked for Dr. Dake since May 1992 and became a Certified Orthodontic Assistant in 1995 and Expanded Functions Certified in June 1999. I am married to Steve and we have 2 daughters, Emily and Hanna. I do the entire inventory and ordering for orthodontic supplies, in addition to my day-to-day assisting. Being a part of Dr. Dake's team is very rewarding and also lots of fun. I enjoy getting to know our patients in all of our offices, not only watching them go through changes in their teeth, but seeing how much they change in their everyday lives.
Hello, my name is Janet. I have worked for Dr. Dake and Dr. Murphy since May 2007. My husband, Philip, and I moved here from upstate New York in June 2004 where I had worked for an orthodontic group for 14 years and was a Certified Orthodontic Assistant. I became a Registered Dental Assistant in November 2007. My duties here in the Mountain Home office include assisting the doctors and treatment coordinator. Philip and I have four children and, at present, eight grandchildren. I have always enjoyed orthodontics and seeing the super end results from each and every patient, including my own as an adult 17 years ago.

I became a member of this orthodontic team in June 2009, where I am the appointment coordinator as well as the receptionist in West Plains, Mountain Home, and satellite offices, Mountain Grove, Houston, and Highland, AR. The most enjoyable aspect of my job is getting to meet each patient and working with an enthusiastic staff.
Hello! My name is Kim. I have been an assistant since 1996. I am married to John, and we have one son, Jacob. Part of my duties is to make sure that everything is ready in the operatory for the following day. I help with taking pictures, as well as making sure that all of our equipment is in proper working order, and I order any new office equipment that is needed. I pack our equipment for our satellite days and make sure we have everything prepared for those days. I became Expanded Functions Certified in October 1999. I really enjoy my job, and Dr. Dake and all the girls are great to work with!

I am married to Bruce and we have a daughter, Jessie. Along with assisting, I take all the initial records, which include X-rays, photos and impressions. My name is Pam. My husband, Garry, and I have two children, Kattie and Koddy, and a daughter-in-law, Ashley. We have lived in the West Plains area for 22 years. We enjoy spending time together at the river, outdoor events and with our extended family and friends. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Recreational Therapy/Adminstration from Pittsburg State University in 1982. I came to work for Dr. Mark Dake in 1993 and received my Expanded Functions Certification in 1999. My years of experience in orthodontics have been very rewarding. My duties have included orthodontic assisting, financial coordinator, treatment coordinator, marketing coordinator and educating our patients about our office and their treatment. I enjoy meeting new people and seeing their transformation as they progress through treatment. I attended Dental Assisting School at Vatterott College in Springfield, and now I'm a Registered Dental Assistant and Expanded Functions Certified. Hi! My name is Susan. I first worked for Dr. Dake in the early 90's, and I'm happy to say that in February 2007 I had the opportunity to return. My husband, Stacy, and I have two children, Audrey and Mason. My jobs here vary. When a new patient comes in to start treatment, I go over all of their paperwork with them. If they have insurance, I file it for them, and I also enter new patients’ financial information into the computer. Working with the doctors, Darrin and all of the girls is a lot of fun! I also really enjoy getting to meet all of our patients!
